Chocolate Chess Pie

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 small can evaporated milk (or 1/2 large can)
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Directions

    Cream oleo and eggs.

    Mix sugar with cocoa and add to oleo mixture.

    Beat about 2 minutes and add milk, vanilla and nuts. Pour into uncooked pie shell.

    Bake about 45 minutes (until done in middle) in a 350° oven.

    Just as easy to double and make two pies.
