  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Grease and flour cake pans.

    Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl.

    Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly.

    Beat for 3 minutes on high speed.

    Pour into pans. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
