- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. unsifted flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels (1 c.)
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2In a large mixer bowl, beat eggs at high speed until foamy (about 3 minutes).

3Beat in flour, sugar and brown sugar until well blended.

4Beat in softened butter.

5Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

6Pour into pie shell.

7Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until center is set and top is golden brown.

8Cool. Serve warm or cold.

9Whipped cream is great as a topper!
