  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt (omit)
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In a bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.

    In bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.

    Beat in egg.

    Gradually add flour mixture.

    Stir in morsels and nuts.

    Drop by level tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets for 9 to 11 minutes.
