  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 cups Butter (or Coconut Oil Or Applesauce)
  • 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cup Uncooked Quick Oats
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks, Divided

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease an 8x8 baking pan.

    In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.

    In a larger bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, water and vanilla and blend to combine. Stir in flour mixture and oats. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chunks.

    Spread batter into prepared baking pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate chunks on top. Bake 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
