  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 baked pie shell

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients and cook over heat until thick. Stir small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks.
  2. 2
    Pour back into saucepan and cook until thick. Add butter and vanilla.

    Pour into baked pie shell.
  4. 4
    Top with meringue.
