- 1/3 c. cold milk
- 5 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1-1/2 square chocolate
- 3 Tbsp. hot water
- 3 egg whites
Directions

1Mix the cornstarch, sugar and salt.

2Add cold milk.

3Stir thoroughly.

4Add to scalded milk.

5Cook in double boiler 8-10 minutes stirring constantly until custard thickens.

6Melt chocolate in hot water.

7Stir until smooth.

8Add to mixture.

9Add stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla.
