- 8 oz semi sweet chocolate
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 3/4 cup cake flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 egg whites
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375

2Melt chocolate, milk, brown sugar, and single egg yolk over double boiler (remove from heat when smooth and thick)

3Sift flour, soda, and salt together

4Beat butter, sugar, egg yolks, 3/4 cup milk, and vanilla until smooth

5Slowly add in flour mixture and stir tell smooth then add melted chocolate

6Beat eggs whites until stiff, then fold into batter

7Bake for 20-25 minutes

8Allow to cool for 10 mins in pan, and then remove from pan to finish cooling
