  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cocoa
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla together until creamy. Add cocoa to boiling water, blend well and cool.

    Next add cocoa mixture and remaining ingredients to creamy mixture.

    Blend completely.

    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
