  • 1 stick oleo, melted
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Cool Whip
  • 1 (3 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 (3 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 c. milk
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 8 to 10 maraschino cherries, cut into small pieces

Directions

    Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved.

    Continue to cook without stirring, until candy thermometer reaches 260° or until a little dropped into very cold water forms a hard ball.
