- 2 c. water
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Heat water and butter to rolling boil. Stir in flour; stir rapidly over low heat about 1 minute or until mixture forms a ball.

3Remove from heat.

4Beat in eggs all at once. Continue beating until smooth.

5Drop dough by scant 1/4 cup, 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

6Shape into fingers 4 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches.

7Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

8Fill and frost.
