- 8 Tbsp. Hershey's dry cocoa
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavor
- pinch of salt
- 2 c. whole milk
Directions

1Throw everything, but vanilla, into a large saucepan.

2Heat at low heat until butter melts.

3Increase heat until mixture boils. Allow mixture to boil for 4 to 7 minutes, stirring constantly. (Beware, it will stick or scorch.) Remove from heat and add vanilla.

4Serve while hot.

5Makes about 1 quart of gravy.

6Unused gravy can be stored in the refrigerator in a fruit jar and used indefinitely.
