Chocolate Macadamia Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. chopped Macadamia nuts
  • 2 oz. white chocolate, chopped
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Melt chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate and butter together.

    Cool 10 minutes.

    Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beating by hand until blended.

    Stir in flour, baking powder and salt that has been mixed together.

    Fold in nuts and white baking chocolate.

    Pour into a greased 9-inch square pan.

    Bake 30 to 40 minutes until they test done.

    Cool. Sift powdered sugar over before cutting into 24 bars.
