- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 7 oz. shredded coconut
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 egg whites, beaten with 1/2 c. sugar until stiff peaks form
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In double boiler, over simmering water, melt chocolate.

3Stir in coconut, salt and almond extract.

4Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture.

5Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

6Bake 12 minutes until set.

7Remove from oven immediately and let cool.
