- 1 box chocolate wafers (without icing in the middle)
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 4 (1 oz.) blocks unsweetened baking chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- whipped cream or topping
- chopped nuts and halved maraschino cherries
Directions

1Cream together butter and sugar.

2Blend in melted chocolate and add eggs.

3Beat well.

4Blend in peppermint and almond extracts.

5Use foil cupcake liners.

6Fill each cup 3/4 full. Place whipped cream on top of each.

7Sprinkle with nuts and top with cherry half.

8Freeze for 2 hours.

9Defrost 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
