- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. cocoa powder (not a mix)
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine (at room temperature)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate covered mint patties
Directions

1Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt onto a sheet of wax paper.

2Beat sugar and butter until well blended at high speed.

3Beat in vanilla and egg.

4Reduce speed to low. Gradually beat in sifted mixture until well blended. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes if it is very soft.
