- 1/4 lb. sweet chocolate
- 3 Tbsp. brewed coffee
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1 1/4 c. heavy cream, whipped stiff
Directions

1Melt the chocolate in the coffee over hot water.

3Beat the egg yolks in a bowl.

4Add the sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

5Stir in chocolate and vanilla.

6Fold in egg whites gently, but thoroughly.

7Fold in whipped cream.

8Turn into a 2-quart souffle dish.

9Chill for 6 hours.
