- 12 oz. premade angel food cake
- 4 to 8 Tbsp. white or dark rum (according to taste)
- 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- salt
- 2 c. whipping cream, divided
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
Directions

1Break cake into bite size pieces.

2Drizzle with rum and set aside.

3Melt chocolate over low heat in a double boiler.

4Remove from heat.

5Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each until smooth.

6Add vanilla and a dash of salt.

7Whip 1 cup whipping cream until stiff and fold into chocolate mixture.
