- 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1/4 c. brewed coffee
- 1 1/2 tsp. orange flavored liqueur
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- chocolate crumb crust
- 3 egg whites
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- whipped cream
Directions

1Melt the chocolate over hot water.

2Blend in coffee and liqueur.

3Add egg yolks, one at a time.

4Stir in vanilla and cool slightly.

5Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.

6Add sugar; beat until stiff and not dry.

7Gently fold egg white mixture into chocolate mixture.

8Turn into crust; freeze until firm.

9Top with whipped cream when serving.
