  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pudding in cake devil's food cake mix

Directions

    Bake cake mix according to directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Leave in pan; slice into 24 squares.

    Mix sugar, cocoa, salt and milk in pan.

    Boil for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Add oleo and vanilla.

    Pour over presliced cake, making sure syrup goes between slices.
