Chocolate Orange Cupcakes.

  • 9/16 cup granulated sugar
  • 7 3/4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 eggs medium sized
  • 5/8 cup self raising flour
  • 4 2/3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 milk table spoons of
  • 1 Orange chopped up, for decoration
  • 2 teaspoons essence orange
  • 1 slice Orange melted chocolate, optional

Directions

    Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius/gas mark 4/350 degrees Fahrenheit and put the cupcake cases into the cupcake tray.

    After that, cream together the sugar and butter. Add one egg and half the flour and mix it together. Then add the other egg ,the rest of the flour ,the cocoa powder and orange essence.

    Using a tablespoon, evenly divide the mixture into the cupcake cases. Place them in the oven to bake for 15 - 20 minutes.

    Add the chopped oranges to the top. You can use melted chocolate orange to stick it on but this is optional.

    Now it is ready to eat! Enjoy!
