  • 1 stick oleo
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring oleo, cocoa, shortening and water to a boil.

    Pour over sugar and flour.
  3. 3
    Add buttermilk, baking soda, eggs and vanilla. Bake in a greased oblong pan at 375° for 20 minutes.
