- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Combine margarine, syrup, sugar and cocoa in saucepan.

2Cook over low heat.

3Stir constantly until sugar dissolves.

4Let cool. Add eggs, vanilla and salt; stir well.

61/2 cup of pecans and coconut.

7Pour filling into pastry shell and top with remaining 1/2 cup of pecans.

8Bake at 325° for 55 minutes.
