Chocolate Pecan Pie

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    Mix sugar, flour and cocoa together.

    Add margarine, eggs and milk.

    Then add pecans and vanilla.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. About half way through cooking, place a piece of aluminum foil over pie to prevent crust from getting too brown.

    Make sure pie is dry to touch before removing from oven.

    Makes 1 deep-dish pie.
