Chocolate Pecan Pie

- 3 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 regular can evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 3 regular size pie shells
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans (for top of each pie)
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients (sugar, cocoa and salt) first.

2Add milk, vanilla, eggs and melted margarine to the dry mixture.

3Add chopped pecans.

4Pour the mixture evenly into the 3 pie shells.

5Add extra chopped pecans to each pie until the nuts cover the entire surface of each pie (make sure the pecans are mixed in with the pie filling, not just lying on top of the pie).

6Bake at 350° for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
