- pastry for 9-inch one crust pie
- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (4 oz.) bar sweet cooking chocolate, cut up
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Prepare pastry.

3In saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, chocolate and milk.

4Heat, stirring constantly, just until chocolate is melted.

5(Could also do in microwave.) Gradually stir hot mixture into eggs.

6Stir in pecan halves.

7Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

8Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.

9(Center will appear soft.)

10Cool several hours.
