- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 cups milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 9 in. baked pastry
Directions

1Mix flour, cocoa, sugar, salt.

2Add beaten egg yolks.

3Add milk.

4Cook in double boiler until mixture is thick; remove, add butter and vanilla.

5Pour into pastry and top with meringue (egg whites beaten until stiff, gradually adding 6 tbsp. sugar; continue to beat until stiff and glossy).

6Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
