  • 1 baked 9 inch pie shell
  • 2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa (well rounded)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    In a saucepan, mix flour, cocoa and sugar. Add egg yolks and milk. Cook until thick. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter. Pour in pie shell and top with meringue if desired. Bake at 375° until brown.
