  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 level Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Cook in saucepan, stirring continuously until smooth and thick.

    Pour into 2 baked pie shells.

    Cover with frosting made from the 4 egg whites.

    Beat until they stand in peaks

    by adding pinch of salt.

    Then add 8 tablespoons granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.

    Spread over pies.

    Preheat oven to 425° and brown pies lightly.
