- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat egg yolks. Mix sugar, flour, cocoa and salt thoroughly. Gradually add to egg yolks. Add milk; mix well. Cook in a double boiler until thickened. Cool and add vanilla. Stir. Pour into a baked pie shell and top with meringue using the 2 egg whites and 6 teaspoons sugar. Brown meringue in oven. Cool before serving.
