  • 2 pre-baked pie shells, cooled
  • 6 eggs (3 eggs separated/reserve whites for meringue)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 stick butter, cut up

Directions

    In large iron skillet, beat eggs and sugar together.

    Add cocoa and flour.

    Add milk, vanilla and butter.

    Mix well and bring to boil.

    Reduce heat to medium and cook until mixture thickens; stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and divide mixture between two pie shells.
