- 3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- Powdered sugar
Directions

1Position rack in lower third of oven.

2Preheat oven to 375°. Grease 6-c. popover pan or 6 (6 oz.) custard cups.

3Set custard cups in jelly roll pan.

4Sift flour, granulated sugar, cocoa and salt into medium bowl; set aside.

5Beat eggs in large bowl with electric mixer at low speed 1 minute.

6Beat in milk, butter and vanilla.

7Beat in flour mixture until smooth.

8Pour batter into prepared pan.

9Bake 50 minutes.

10Immediately remove popovers to wire rack.

11Generously sprinkle powdered sugar over popovers. Serve immediately.

12Makes 6 popovers.
