  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 eggs

    Sift and measure together flour, sugar and cocoa.

    Add shortening, margarine and milk; beat until creamy.
