  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour (plain)
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. cocoa

    Cream the butter and Crisco.

    Add sugar and beat until creamy. Add one egg at a time.

    Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa. Alternate flour and milk.
