  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream oleo, shortening and sugar together; blend in eggs, one at a time; sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Add vanilla and beat well.

    Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
