- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Sift baking powder, flour and cocoa together 3 times.

4Add dry ingredients, alternating with liquid, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

5Pour batter in 10-inch tube pan.

6Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

7Test after 1 hour and 15 minutes.
