  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 heaping tsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cream together the softened butter and shortening.
