  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. nuts (optional)

    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time.

    Add milk and vanilla.

    Add dry ingredients.

    When well blended, fold in nuts. Bake in a greased and floured large tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
