  • 4 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 T cocoa
  • 1/3 c. cream
  • 2 oz. grated dark chocolate
  • 3/4 t water
  • 1 1/2 T butter
  • 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. cream
  • 1 1/2 c. coffee

Directions

    1) Preheat oven to 350.

    2) Mix first first 4 ingredients just until combined. Add next 4 ingredients and mix until combined; do not overmix.

    3)Put mixture in 8X8 pan.

    4) Combine brown sugar and cocoa; spread over bottom layer.

    5) Pour the coffee over the cake.

    6) Bake 20 - 25 min. checking frequently.
