- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- margarine
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 3/4 cup raspberry jam
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1 cup almonds, chopped and blanched
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tbsp. milk
Directions

1Combine flour and 1 cup sugar in a bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.

2Add egg and almond extract; stir well.

3Set aside 1 cup of flour mixture for the topping.

4Press remaining flour mixture into a lightly greased 13x9-inch pan.

5Spread raspberry jam evenly over dough.

6Combine reserved flour mixture, chocolate morsels and almonds; stir well.

7Sprinkle topping over raspberry jam; gently press topping into jam with a fork.

8Bake at 350F for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.

9Cool on wire rack.

10Combine powdered sugar and milk in small bowl; stirring until mixture is smooth.

11Drizzle glaze over the toppings.

12Cut into bars.
