- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 sq. chocolate, melted
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Directions

1Cream the butter and gradually add sugar.

2Beat for 2 minutes. Add flour, eggs and vanilla.

3Measure 3 cups of batter into a greased tube pan.

4Stir chocolate and flavoring into remaining batter.

5Spoon chocolate mixture over batter in tube pan and, with a rubber spatula, cut and twist through batter to give a ripple effect.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

7Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto cooling rack.
