- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 c. margarine, softened
- 3 c. sugar
- 10 eggs
- 4 c. sifted cake flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract

1In small saucepan, melt shortening; add cocoa, stirring until smooth.

3Cream butter and gradually add sugar; beat well.

4Add eggs, one at a time.

6Add flour and vanilla, mixing well.
