- 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- confectioners sugar
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1About 1 hour ahead, set out eggs.

2When ready to make cake, heat oven to 400°.

3Grease waxed paper, then line bottom of jelly roll pan (paper-buttered side up).

4Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa and salt together 3 times.

5Separate eggs.

6Beat yolks and add flour mixture. Add vanilla.

7Beat whites until stiff and fold into flour mixture.

8Turn into pan.

9Bake 12 minutes or just until cake springs back when gently touched.
