- 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 1 small pkg. vanilla pudding
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. rum
- 1 pt. heavy cream
- 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. rum
Directions

1Bake cake according to directions in 2 (8-inch) cake layer pans.

2When cool, cut both layers in half, using thread to make 4 layers.

3Make pudding, using only 1 1/2 cups milk.

4Remove from heat; let cool some.

5Add 1/4 cup rum; let cool completely.

6Whip the cream; add 1/2 cup to pudding.

7Fold in.

8Set rest of whipped cream aside.

9Put pudding mixture between layers.

10To the remaining whipped cream, add the confectioners sugar and 1 tablespoon rum.

11Ice outside of cake.
