  • 5/8 cup dark chocolate
  • 7 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons marsala
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

    Break up the cookies into chunks.

    Melt the chocolate using a double boiler and allow it to cool slightly.

    Add the butter with the sugar by using a spatula until the mixture is light and foamy.

    In a bowl, add the chocolate, cocoa powder, egg, Marsala, salt, and the cookie pieces and mix well.

    Place the mixture on a sheet of parchment paper.

    Wrap the mixture into the shape of a salami.

    Twist the ends of the parchment paper closed and refrigerate the salami for 3 to 4 hours.

    Remove the parchment paper, coat the salami with powdered sugar, cut it in slices, and serve.
