  • 1 oz. chocolate square, unsweetened
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt chocolate with 1 1/2 cups water and butter in a 10-inch skillet.

    Bring to a boil.

    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Gradually stir into boiling chocolate mixture; add vanilla.

    Reduce heat.

    Simmer 2 minutes.
