  • 6 tsp. cocoa
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

    Bring the cocoa, oleo and water to melt and boil.

    Remove from heat.

    Sift together the sugar and flour.

    Pour cocoa mixture on flour mixture.

    Add the eggs, buttermilk, soda, vanilla and cinnamon.

    Bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes (in an oblong pan).
