  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Place sugar and flour in bowl.

    Place in boiler the oleo, Crisco, water and cocoa.

    Bring this to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Pour over ingredients in bowl.

    Add buttermilk, eggs, cinnamon, soda and vanilla; mix.

    Grease and flour 10 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
