1 c. water
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda added to
1/2 c. buttermilk (this will overflow 1/2 c. measure)

In large bowl mix sugar and flour.

In saucepan combine and let come to a boil the water, margarine, Crisco and cocoa.

Mix flour mixture and hot mixture together.

Then add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into 15-1/2x10-1/2x1-inch pan.

Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until tests done.
