Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 c. powdered sugar

Directions

    Melt 1 cup butter and stir in 1/4 cup of cocoa and water. Bring to a boil.

    Combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; add cocoa mixture as well.

    Add 1/3 cup of Eagle Brand milk, eggs and vanilla.

    Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Melt 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup cocoa, balance of Eagle Brand milk, sugar and nuts.

    Pour on warm sheet cake pan.
